How the model works
- Guests who can contribute pay a modest accommodation or hospitality amount set according to the service provided.
- Contributions help cover food, utilities, cleaning, staffing, security, repairs, linen, sanitation and routine maintenance.
- Organisational and group bookings may contribute at a different level from subsidised individual stays.
- Donations and grants can sponsor guests who cannot meet the normal contribution.
- Any operational surplus should be reinvested in the Centre, future development and approved charitable objectives.
Why sustainability matters
A hospitality programme cannot offer dependable service if buildings deteriorate, staff are unsupported, food supplies are inconsistent or basic utilities cannot be maintained. Responsible cost recovery protects the dignity of guests by helping ensure the Centre remains clean, safe and functional.
