Gender-responsive hospitality means recognising that women and men may have different privacy, safety and accommodation needs while ensuring equal dignity, fair access and respectful treatment.
Male and female wings
The planned Centre will include separate male and female accommodation wings. This separation supports privacy, security and appropriate use of shared sleeping and sanitation spaces. Family accommodation should be arranged separately so families can stay together where appropriate.

Non-discrimination
Guest access should be managed according to programme purpose, safety, capacity and lawful organisational policy. Guests should not be humiliated, harassed or treated as less deserving because of gender, age, disability, social background or financial status.
